Dubuisson hoping for big week in Prague

The 2014 Ryder Cup star heads to the tournament for the first time after missing the inaugural event 12 months ago, and he is looking to build on his impressive performance at the final Major Championship of the year earlier this month.

The 25 year old, who currently sits 43rd in the Race to Dubai rankings, finished in a share of 18th place at the US PGA Championship at Whistling Straits and is hoping for further success at Albatross Golf Resort.

He said: "I am looking forward to it. Last year I couldn’t play, so I am happy to be here this year. It is a great opportunity to have another win.

"This week will be a good week to try to win and try to get my Race to Dubai ranking up.

"This year has not been as good as it was last year for me - it's not a great season, so I really hope to do well this week and get my ranking up.

"I will do my best and I think the course will suit me."

Jamie Donaldson secured his Ryder Cup spot when he tasted victory at last year's event and the Welshman has told Dubuisson what to expect from the course.

Dubuisson added: "Jamie told me it is a good, difficult course - especially when it is windy.

"He said they had a lot of wind on a few rounds last year.

"He said it is really long, and I spoke with a few people here who said it has been raining a lot last week and the rough is very steep. So it will be a good challenge, especially if the wind is up."

The Frenchman, who plays alongside former Ryder Cup player Peter Hanson and Dane Thorbjørn Olesen, is predicting a strong finish to the year after making the decision to change his putter.

He continued: "My form is starting to come back a little bit.

"The problem was my putting. For six months my putting was really, really bad. I had to do something, so I changed my putter.

"I worked quite a bit on it, and the last few weeks I’m doing better. I had a good result in the US PGA and I feel I am going to have a good end to the season."
