Welshman Jamie Donaldson has added his name to an already stellar field for the Omega European Masters.
The 39 year old will join Ryder Cup team-mates Sergio Garcia, Lee Westwood and Victor Dubuisson at the 81stedition of the tournament, which returns to the magnificent Crans-sur-Sierre, in the Swiss Alps.
The 2013 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Champion has competed in the event on ten previous occasions, finishing in the top ten in his last three appearances, including a tie for third in 2011.
He said: “The Omega European Masters is a great tournament played at a stunning venue, and the course is always challenging. I really look forward to playing in the Swiss Alps in this brilliant event.”
As well as the quartet of Ryder Cup stars, American Patrick Reed and England’s Danny Willett, currently in second place in The Race to Dubai, have also confirmed their participation.
