Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, both former World Number Ones, will headline the field for the Alstom Open de France at Le Golf National, from July 4-7.

The English pair will be among the world class field for the event, with Donald returning for the first time since 2010 when he finished tied 11th.

He will be hoping for a strong performance as part of his bid to regain the Race to Dubai title he won in 2011, becoming the first player in history to top the money list on both sides of the Atlantic in the same season.

Ryder Cup teammate Westwood, who recently turned 40, finished tied eight in the recent Masters Tournament and was runner up in the 2009 Alstom Open de France, losing in a play-off to German Martin Kaymer.

He has finished in the top ten in four occasions at Le Golf National, which is the venue for The 2018 Ryder Cup.
