Dodt lead trimmed in Mauritius

Andrew Dodt saw his lead cut to two shots as Jeunghun Wang picked up an early birdie in round three of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

The Australian came into Saturday with a three-shot advantage and while he made a steady start, parring his first three holes, Wang made a gain on the second to move to six under, just two shots back.

Siddikur Rahman, playing alongside Dodt and Wang in the final group, also made an early gain on the first to sit a shot further back, one clear of Nicolas Colsaerts.

Dodt has had an indifferent start to the season, missing four cuts in six events, but has two European Tour wins to his name, while Wang is looking to win for the second week in a row after his triumph at the Trophée Hassan II.

Colsaerts is attached to the Four Seasons Golf Club at Anahita, using all that local knowledge to card a brilliant 65 in the windy conditions on Friday, and he opened his third round with a trio of pars.

South African Oliver Bekker made a smart start with two birdies in his first five holes to sit at two under, a shot clear of countryman Hennie Otto and England's Ross McGowan.

Otto was level par through five holes while McGowan had a bogey on the third, with just seven players under par.

Jaco Ahlers, Estanislao Goya and Scott Hend were then at level par.
