DID YOU KNOW – WGC – HSBC CHAMPIONS
*Defending champion, Francesco Molinari is trying to become only the second player to make a successful defence of any WGC event, following Tiger Woods.
*The quality of the field is highlighted by the fact that all four of the 2011 Major Champions are playing as well as two of the 2011 WGC winners. Four players from the top ten are competing and 11 from within the top 20 of the Official World Ranking.
*The are a total of 13 Major Champions here this week, as well players representing 20 countries.
*There will be no fewer than 40 European Tour Members participating in the 2011 WGC – HSBC Champions. Nicolas Colsaerts, Michael Hoey, Keith Horne, Jbe Kruger, Tom Lewis, Robert Rock and Lee Slattery will all be making their debuts in a WGC event.
