Derksen maintains advantage

Dutchman Robert-Jan Derksen continued to lead the way as the Alstom Open de France second round began in Paris.

The former Dubai Desert Classic winner was three clear after an eight under par 63 and resumed with six straight pars.

Derksen's closest overnight challengers - Jean Van de Velde, defending champion Martin Kaymer and Alejandro Cañizares were all afternoon starters.

Before the trio set off again they were joined on five under by England's Robert Rock, Frenchman Gregory Bourdy and South African Charl Schwartzel.

Derksen parred every hole going out, although he needed a couple of saving putts for that.

His lead was down to two with Hanson, Schwartzel and Indian Jyoti Randhawa all reaching six under.
