Miguel shows that age is just a number
Jiménez may be 57 years old but the evergreen Spaniard is still giving the European Tour's youngsters a run for their money. Jiménez drove the green at the par four seventh and left himself just 13 feet for a stunning eagle. He made no mistake with the putt to catapult himself up the leaderboard. He heads into the weekend on four under par after signing for a 67 on Friday.

Burmester hits the front
A spotless 65 from Burmester was enough to give him a one shot advantage heading into the weekend but he has two strong contenders just behind him in the form of Englishman Andy Sullivan and Belgian Thomas Detry. We've got a great couple of days in store.
Paratore on a roll
Italian Renato Paratore finished with a flourish on Friday, making a hat-trick of birdies at the 14th, 15th and 16th to jump to nine under par and leave himself just two back heading into the weekend. He saved the best until last in that birdie run, holing from just shy of 50 feet on the 16th green for a tremendous two...

Stenson and Molinari battle back
Former Open Champions Francesco Molinari and Henrik Stenson started the tournament with over par rounds on Thursday but they both hit back in style on day two, firing 64s to comfortably make it through to the weekend. I expect we'll be seeing plenty more from these two on Saturday and Sunday.
Crans earning plaudits from the players
This week's venue provides some of the best views in golf and I think it's fair to say the players love it. Justin Harding became the latest person to heap praise on Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club, saying: "It's stunning, a spectacular venue. I think the golf course is phenomenal, but it's taken me a little while to get used to it. There are still a few holes out there where I'm standing there not quite knowing what to do, so I've got to get over that. Hopefully come the weekend I'll have sorted those things out. But it's a great test of golf and you can see that from the past champions. It's a good all round test, you've got to get it on the fairway, on the right spots on the greens and get it around as well."
