1– European Tour top ten to Coetsee’s name, which came way back in 1999

2– shot lead for the South African over a group of four players (Steve Webster, Jacques Blaauw, David Howell & Tjaart van der Walt)

65– from Webster was the low round of the day

7 – birdies and no bogeys in the Englishman’s fine effort

17– under par on the front nine this week for Justin Walters (who played the West Course on day two)

8– over par on the back nine for Walters

4– birdies in a row to start with for Blaauw – who carded an impressive five under par 67
