68 - Sébastien Gros leads after 18 holes in Germany, thanks to a first round of 68.

79 - Gros opened with a 79 on this course two years ago.

2.97 - Today's round was the fifth hardest on the European Tour this season, with an average score to par of 2.97.

3 - Three of the other hardest rounds were at last week's US Open at Shinnecock Hills GC.
