Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts doubled his advantage in the early stages of the Volvo China Open final round.

Leading Han Chang-won by a single stroke overnight, the 28 year old opened with a birdie at the par five first and gained another shot two holes later.

After six holes the longest hitter on The European Tour last year was 20 under for the week, with Han joined by Australian Aaron Townsend in second.

Han's first birdie of the day came at the sixth, but the 19 year old former Asian Amateur Champion was going to require a change of fortune on the back nine to capture a first professional title.

Over the first three rounds the rookie was 13 under par on the front nine and only four under for the inward half of the Luxehills course.

Townsend, 29, fired four birdies in his first eight holes to climb into contention for the €350,946 winner's cheque.
