Colsaerts confirmed for Mauritius

Two-time European Tour winner Nicolas Colsaerts is the latest player to commit to the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in May.

The 2012 Ryder Cup player joins the already-confirmed Jeev Milkha Singh as well as South African Hennie Otto and Frenchman Thomas Levet for the second edition of the event, which takes place at Four Seasons Golf Club at Anahita from May 12-15.

With a prize fund of €1million, it is the only tournament to be tri-sanctioned by the European, Asian and Sunshine Tours.

Ryan Dodds, Chairperson of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open Organising Committee, said: “We are very excited about the entries who have been confirmed to participate in this year’s tournament. We expect to announce many more big names closer to the event, so watch this space.”

The Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita was designed by four-time Major winner Ernie Els. The course is set against lush mountains and fringed by crystal-clear lagoons. Six stunning ocean-side holes culminate in a final shot that is amongst the most spectacular in the world.
