Some of the players who made waves during the 2013 European Tour season gathered ahead of the start of the 2014 calendar year to launch the Volvo Golf Champions in Durban.
The field for the fourth edition of the Volvo Golf Champions posed on Umhlanga Beach, close to Durban Country Club which hosts the event for the second consecutive year.
However, there will be little time spent on the beach as the 36 man field compete for a prize fund of US$4million and the honour of being the 'champion of champions'.
South African Louis Oosthuizen is defending the title he won 12 months ago, when he succeeded compatriot Branden Grace.
