Cayeux ready to strike

Challenge Tour Member Marc Cayeux remains two shots behind Anthony Michael after a third round level par 72 at the Africom Zimbabwe Open at Royal Harare Golf Club.

Neither Michael nor Cayeux had a good start, although Michael might have been forgiven for thinking he was going to repeat his ten under heroics of round two when he opened with a birdie.

But he followed it with a double bogey on the second - one of five for the day - as opposed to just three birdies for the day.

Cayeux made a bogey on the first and another on the eighth to turn in two over 38, while Michael was one over after a birdie on the sixth and a bogey on the eighth.

Both players made good on their way home, with Michael making eagle three on the 12th and bogey on the 15th, and Cayeux picking up birdies on the 13th and 15th.

Cayeux felt the pressure, as he has since he led the first round together with Marugi - he really wants to win his home Open championship badly.

"It's not about leading now," he said after the third round. "It's about leading on the last day. I'm still in with a shout."
