Canonica wins Pro-Am

Italian Emanuele Canonica secured a home triumph when he won the Pro-Am at the Mugello Tuscany Open.

Canonica, whose team included former Italian footballer Roberto Donadoni, finished ahead of another Italian, Lorenzo Gagli at UNA Poggio dei Medici Golf Club.

David Vanegas, already a winner on the European Challenge Tour in 2010, came joint third with South Africa Branden Grace.
