Dean Burmester made a blistering start to open up a three-shot lead during the final round of the Tshwane Open at Pretoria Country Club.
The South African entered the day one shot off the lead but three birdies in his first four holes catapulted him to 15 under, three ahead of Alexander Björk and Mikko Korhonen.
Burmester has four top 20s in his five events so far this season and had spoken in the build up to this week how he felt a maiden European Tour victory was not too far away.
The 27 year old had a ragged start off the first tee, finding some nasty rough, but he did well to find the green with his second and holed a lengthy left-to-righter to join the leaders.
There was no such unorthodox route to birdie on the second, a drive down the middle and an approach to tap-in range moved him to 14 under and the solo lead.
And that lead was two shots as the final pairing of Björk and Jamieson both failed to get up and down on the first to register bogeys and sit alongside Campillo who started with two pars.
A huge drive down the third left Burmester with a flick into the green and he was looking formidable with a third birdie in a row handing him a three-shot advantage.
Jamieson's troubles continued on the second as he chunked his second shot into the bunker for another bogey and he dropped to 11 under.
Jacques Blaauw - who holds the course record with a 61 - was the big mover with birdies at the second, fourth, sixth, seventh and ninth seeing him join that group after 12 holes.
Korhonen then birdied the fourth to sit three shots off the lead with Burmester parring the same hole and Campillo dropping his first shot of the day.
Peter Karmis started with seven pars to sit at ten under, a shot clear of Thomas Aiken, Paul Dunne, Ben Eccles, Richie Ramsay, Justin Walters and Marc Warren.
