BMW-AGMC has extended its support of The European Tour’s season-ending DP World Tour Championship, Dubai for another three years, taking its sponsorship agreement through to 2017.
BMW has been the Official Car of the US$8 million tournament since 2010 and is also the Official Car of The European Tour, title sponsor of the BMW PGA Championship, the BMW International Open, the BMW Masters and is a European team partner for The Ryder Cup.
Courtesy of BMW-AGMC, the longstanding partnership means The European Tour’s top 60 golfers will continue to be chauffeured in style in top BMW models to and from the tournament which will take place on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 19-22.
In addition to the tournament prize fund and US$5million Race to Dubai Bonus Pool, BMW is also providing the incentive of a stunning BMW i8 for the first player who makes a hole-in-one on the par-three 17th hole during the event.
