The Lalla Aïcha Challenge Tour will take place on the Blue Course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam from October 3-6, 2019.
The venue, which hosts the Trophée Hassan II on the European Tour, is one of the most prestigious destinations in north Africa and while the tournament on the Race to Dubai is contested on the Red Course, the Ladies European Tour compete on the Blue Course.
It is on the Blue Course where European Challenge Tour players will tee it up in the 20th tournament of the season-long Rankings race.
The Blue Course was renovated by order of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid over the last year with new tees, greens and bunkering enhancing the playing experience for those lucky enough to grace the fairways.The front nine is now played as the back nine and vice versa.
Lalla Aïcha Challenge Tour will be the 20th of 24 Ranking events on the Challenge Tour International Schedule in 2019, with the event marking the start of a three week stretch of a tournament on a different continent each week.
After the tournament in Africa, the Challenge Tour returns to Europe for the Irish Challenge before jetting to China for the two-week Chinese Swing where players compete in the big money Hainan Open and Foshan Open.
