The 39-year-old Englishman, who also regularly plays in the Bahrain Open over the sand course at Awali Golf Club, won his third successive title with a score 207, nine under par, in the 54 hole event with last year's runner-up Younes El Hassani again settling for second place with 212.

Third was England’s Yasin Ali (215) ahead of Bahrain's top golfer Hamad Al Afnan.

More than 100 golfers, representing 20 countries from all over the world competed in the annual event, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad and organised to mark Bahrain's National Day celebrations and the 13th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad's accession to the throne.
