August Shot of the Month

In the month of August, the European Tour visited USA, Fiji, Sweden and the Czech Republic. Across each event there were some incredible moments but only one shot can named Shot of the Month.

The first contender is Bangladesh's Siddikur Rahman, who made headlines on day two of the Fiji International with an incredible downhill hole in one on the second hole.

Next up, and the very next day, was Webb Simpson at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club. Playing in the last group on Friday, Simpson spun back a wedge on the 667 yard par five 16th hole for eagle.

Third on the list is Sweden's Hannes Ronneblad, who was competing in his home country at the Nordea Masters. The 23 year old found himself with an awkward bunker shot on the 13th hole during the opening round, downhill to a tricky pin. However, he showed no fear in sending the ball trickling down the slope and into the hole.

Last but not least was Frenchman Sebastian Gros. Having nearly holed on for an ace on the fifth hole at Hills Golf Club in his second round, he walked onto the next tee and did exactly that. The ace was the only one of the tournament and helped the 28 year old notch his third top 15 of the season.

Those are the shots and here they are to view. Vote below to help decide which will be named August's Shot of the Month.
