Tommy Fleetwood won the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship on Sunday, with a sparkling 67 giving him a 17 under total and a one-shot win over Dustin Johnson and Pablo Larrazábal.
Here, we take a look at what some of those who were also battling for the title had to say about their final rounds.
Dustin Johnson (68, -16)
"It was a pretty good week. Obviously I got off to a rough start the first day, didn't play very well, wasn't feeling that great the first day. But then I came back and played well Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All in all, it was a solid day. It was windy out there, it's playing a little bit tougher today. I felt like I struck the ball well and gave myself plenty of opportunities, I just didn't roll any putts in. I knew I had a chance. I needed to make that putt on 17. I knew I needed to go three-three-three to have a chance but Tommy ended up birdieing the last hole. Obviously that took it out of reach."
Martin Kaymer (69, -15)
"I think my putting was very good, very consistent. A lot of putts started on-line this week. Ball-striking, especially mid-irons and long irons have been very solid. So there's a lot of positives. I made a couple of mistakes. The bogeys I made were really from nowhere. It was a nine iron on the ninth hole and then a gap wedge on 13. Bogey on the par five on ten, you never really want that and then I was almost out of the tournament. I was just trying to give myself chances, hoping for a couple of putts to drop in, that didn't quite happen. Tommy played really well, especially over the weekend. So all the credit goes to him."
Bernd Wiesberger (68, -15)
"It was really windy already warming up, so we knew it was going to be a grinding day. The pins were really, really tucked away today as well. You could bail out easily, leave yourself long putts but taking on the pins was really risky today. I think I found a good balance with it. I drove the ball just as well as I could really. Coming into the greens was not quite there, I left myself a bit too far for more birdies. But all in all, just two bogeys all week, I'm really happy with that first week out on a tough golf course. Definitely I felt some positive things in my game this week. I'm not really sure where it's going to stand after the first couple of weeks but I'm really pleased with the way I've started 2017."
Kiradech Aphibarnrat (69, -15)
"I had a good start to jump into the lead. Martin was doing well and the scoring changed a lot in our group, it was good fun. Tommy was playing quite well, solid golf on the back nine and that's the way to make the top of the leaderboard. I'm happy with the way I'm playing and the way I've started the season. I'll keep thinking strong and I believe that my golf game will keep improving. Who knows, next week might be mine?"
