Finland’s Antti Ahokas claimed his second win of the season after a dramatic climax to the ECCO Tour Championship saw him hole a four foot putt when his hopes of victory had appeared dead and buried with two holes to play.
Sweden’s Fredrik Henge continued to reap the benefits of home comforts as he joined Finland’s Antti Ahokas and England’s John Mellor in a share of the halfway lead at the ECCO Tour Championship in Denmark.
Finland’s Antti Ahokas set up a mouthwatering final round battle with compatriot Roope Kakko and England’s Richard McEvoy after a superb seven under par 65 gave him a two stroke advantage at the ECCO Tour Championship.
Fresh from their maiden Challenge Tour victories of the season, Sweden’s Klas Eriksson and Scotland’s Richie Ramsay both return to competitive action in this week’s ECCO Tour Championship in Denmark.
